KATIE Holmes is reportedly "buying a closet's worth" of new clothes - and a lot of lingerie.
Katie filed for divorce from Tom Cruise on June 29 and they reached a settlement less than two weeks later.
The 33-year-old actress is currently in the process of getting her life and career back on track.
On Thursday moving vans were spotted outside of her and Tom's former shared residence, a $28.5 million mansion in Beverly Hills, which were thought to be transporting Katie's belongings to New York City.
The actress is said to be giving herself an expensive makeover in preparation for her new life with daughter Suri in the Big Apple.
"She splurged on around $14,200 worth of sexy lingerie and undergarments alone," a source told the National Enquirer.
"She also bought 15 pairs of pricey Christian Louboutin shoes and went on a tear at Barneys New York department store, buying a closet's worth of clingy cocktail dresses and power suits to wear to auditions and meetings... and hired a personal trainer for $9,500 a month.
"Her attitude is: ‘Look out New York, Katie's back in the game!'
