Jay-Z & 40/40 Club Drop Lawsuit Against Former Chef

Jay-Z's 40/40 Club has decided not to sue former chef Mike Shand for taking his chicken wing recipe with him. Jay-Z and the 40/40 Club have dropped their lawsuit against former chef Mike Shand. The $1.5 million lawsuit was reported to have been over a secret spice mix for chicken wings served at the club, a recipe which Shand took with him when his employment was terminated at the luxury sport's bar. Shand's lawyer, Vik Pawar, spoke on the matter saying, "The spice-mix recipe that Mike developed is his own recipe. 40/40 terminated him, then had the audacity to sue him for the recipe." Last night, Pawar told the NYPost that the suit had been dropped, however the beef might not be over yet. Pawar added, "We still may sue the club for defamation of character and for the return of his possessions, including his laptop, which the club still has."
