Real Sex On Screen: Shia LaBeouf: 'I have to shoot real sex in von Trier's Nymphomaniac'

Shia LaBeouf has admitted that he is "terrified" to begin shooting Lars von Trier's The Nymphomaniac. The Transformers star was confirmed to be in talks for the erotic drama earlier this month, and although he is now firmly attached he has reservations about the project.
He's very dangerous. He's the most dangerous dude I've ever showed up for," LaBeouf told MTV. "I'm terrified." He went on to confirm that the film, which also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan SkarsgÄrd, Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe, will require him and his co-stars to perform genuine sexual acts on screen. "It is what you think it is. There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we're doing [the sex] for real. And anything that is 'illegal' will be shot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening." "I'm only going to work now when I'm terrified," LaBeouf added.
