Still At The Top: Rihanna album lowest-selling number one in recorded UK chart history

Rihanna's Talk That Talk has become the lowest-selling album to reach number one on the UK chart. The singer's sixth studio album returned to number one on the British tally on Sunday (August 12), despite being first released last November.
However, the collection only sold 9,578 copies to reach the summit, making it the UK's lowest-selling number one since modern records began, reports Music Week. Not since Millward Brown began supplying data to the Official Charts Company in 1994 has a number one album sold so few copies. The low sales also mean Rihanna has collected the title for the lowest-selling number one of the 21st Century.
