$6M Lawsuit Over Distribution Rights Of DMX's "Undisputed"

A legal battle is ensuing over the distribution rights of DMX's latest LP "Undisputed". While he may not be pushing units at the pace he used to, DMX is back with his latest album Undisputed, which had a respectable showing with a Top 20 debut week. Now a legal battle over the distribution rights of the album has began. A report from AllHipHop, has surfaced that Seven Arts entertainment is suing In The Zone Entertainment over who should be distributing X’s LP. The suit claims that In The Zone’s Craig Sussan and Charles Gullo broke an agreement set in place with Seven Arts. Via HHDX, an agreement was in place to distribute an album in February called Redemption Of The Beast, but In The Zone did not pay the agreed upon fee. Now Seven Arts is suing for over $6 million. DMX’s comeback album Undisputed moved 17,000 copies in the first week of sales. It is X’s first studio album since 2006’s Year of the Dog...Again.
