RIP OFF:LIL WAYNE'S RECORD LABEL Accused of Ripping Off Two Music Producers

Lil Wayne's record label allegedly stiffed a couple music producers out of their cut of the royalties from some of rap's biggest albums ... this according to two separate lawsuits. Two different producers -- Andrews "Drew" Correa and Marcos "Infamous" Rodriguez -- filed federal lawsuits this week against Wayne's label, Young Money Entertainment. In lawsuit #1 ... Correa says he inked a deal with YME in 2008 to produce music for a YME artist. He claims that music ended up on mega albums like "Carter III," "Re-Birth," "I'm Not a Human Being" and "Priceless." Correa says he was paid some royalties by YME, but the payments stopped coming out of the blue. In lawsuit #2 ... Rodriguez claims he signed on in 2007 to produce music for YME and claims his compositions were used on the albums “Carter III," "Re-Birth," "We Are Young Money," "Carter IV" and "Priceless." He claims YME stopped making royalty payments and refuses to cough up any more cash. Both producers hired Singh, Singh and Trauben to sue the pants off YME for the missing pay days.

Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, has died today. He was 82. Armstrong underwent heart surgery earlier this month, just a few days after his birthday. Armstrong commanded the Apollo 11 spacecraft, which landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. During his three-hour walk on the moon's surface, he radioed back the famous line, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Armstrong married his current wife Carol in 1999 and lived in the Cincinnati suburb of Indian Hill. He stayed largely out of the public spotlight in recent years.

Nice Rides: Chris Moyles targeted by thieves while on holiday

Police have confirmed that they are investigating a robbery at the house of Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles. Thieves are said to have stolen two cars worth over £100,000 from the driveway of the property in Highgate, north London while Moyles was on holiday.

According to Sky News, the burglars raided the £2 million property on Thursday (August 23) and stole an Audi RS and a Mercedes ML63 AMG, both of which have since been recovered. "We are investigating a burglary that took place on Thursday at an address in Highgate," said a spokesman from Scotland Yard. "Two vehicles that were stolen as a result of the burglary have been recovered and inquiries are continuing. There have been no arrests at this time." Moyles is due to present his last breakfast show for the station next month, before former late night presenter Nick Grimshaw takes over the slot. The 38-year-old will then begin a run as Herod in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of Jesus Christ Superstar, starring alongside Mel C and comedian Tim Minchin.

Changed So Much: Busta Rhymes: 'Hip-hop has changed so much since I started'

Busta Rhymes has suggested that hip-hop has changed a great deal since he first became famous in the 1990s. The rapper, whose breakthrough solo hit was 1996's 'Woo Hah!! Got You All In Check', suggested to The Huffington Post that record companies have almost become obsolete with the rise of mixtapes.

"These record companies are making it a lot easier for themselves to not be needed because they don't develop artists anymore," Rhymes said. "And if artists are left to have that responsibility to develop themselves on their own, when they become the s**t and they become the stars, would they need a record label? They already became the s**t without the record label." Better : Usher wins primary custody of children with ex-wife Tameka Foster

Usher has won his custody battle against his ex-wife Tameka Foster. The R&B singer was given primary custody of their two sons, while Foster will have custodial rights, reports TMZ.

The judge's ruling means that the children will be spending most of their time with Usher, but the extent of Foster's custodial rights is not yet clear. The pair have been locked in a bitter custody battle for months. Earlier this month, it was reported that Usher wanted to postpone the trial in the wake of Foster's son Kyle Glover's death after a jet ski accident in July. Foster alleged at the time that Usher was only trying to get sympathy from the press and public and claimed that he did not attend Kyle's funeral. The singer was said to be "torn up" following his stepson's tragic accident.

Jay-Z's 40/40 Club has decided not to sue former chef Mike Shand for taking his chicken wing recipe with him. Jay-Z and the 40/40 Club have dropped their lawsuit against former chef Mike Shand. The $1.5 million lawsuit was reported to have been over a secret spice mix for chicken wings served at the club, a recipe which Shand took with him when his employment was terminated at the luxury sport's bar. Shand's lawyer, Vik Pawar, spoke on the matter saying, "The spice-mix recipe that Mike developed is his own recipe. 40/40 terminated him, then had the audacity to sue him for the recipe." Last night, Pawar told the NYPost that the suit had been dropped, however the beef might not be over yet. A court has ruled in favor of Kanye West for a copywrite lawsuit over the lyrics for his hit single "Stronger". Whatever don't kill 'Ye, can only make him stronger. Kanye West has recently won a copyright lawsuit over the lyrics for his hit single "Stronger" off his Graduation LP. In 2010, producer Vincent Peters sued Kanye saying that he originally played his song for John Monopoly at his home in Chicago in 2006, and was "shocked" when he heard Kanye's track, which he felt incorporated significant portions of his lyrics. The crux of both songs lyrics are a quote from 19th Century German philosopher Nietzsche, and now the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has dismissed the suit on the grounds that many songs have taken from this quote. Judge Diane Wood's ruling said "although the fact that both songs quote from a 19th century German philosopher might, at first blush, seem to be an unusual coincidence, West correctly notes that the aphorism has been repeatedly invoked in song lyrics over the past century.” Further, the ruling states, "We are not persuaded that the similarities alleged by Vince P rise to the level of copyright infringement." The Plano Police Department tells TMZ ... Travis was cited for simple assault. We're told officials believe Randy was the primary aggressor. Cops say ... there was a "family argument" taking place between a man and a woman ... and Randy got involved. Randy's lawyer tells TMZ ... the woman in the argument is Randy's fiancee', who was arguing with her estranged husband ... when Randy entered the situation. Another man was also involved in the fight, but cops say it wasn't the husband. More trouble for Randy Travis ... TMZ has learned the embattled singer was involved in a FIGHT in a church parking lot in Texas early this morning. Law enforcement sources tell us ... cops responded to the church around 1 AM after receiving a tip about two men fighting in the parking lot. We're told Travis was taken to the hospital after the fight. One source tells us Randy appeared to be "extremely intoxicated." We're told the fight was over a girl. Travis has had serious problems with alcohol -- he was arrested for DWI earlier this month after cops say they found the singer naked at the scene of a car crash. And Travis was busted for public intoxication back in February after cops say he was hammered in a different church parking lot. Attempts to reach Travis were unsuccessful.

DEAD: EMPIRE STATE SHOOTER SHOT DEAD On Sidewalk

The man who gunned down several rush-hour commuters outside the Empire State Building this morning was killed in a hail of police gunfire ... in plain view of the public. 53-year-old Jeffrey Johnson was fired from his job last year at Hazan Imports, a woman's clothing store ... across the street from the Empire State building. He returned this morning around 9AM for revenge, shooting and killing a former co-worker with a .45-caliber handgun. The streets were packed with tourists and commuters at the time -- and according to police, Johnson fled the scene ... walking up 5th Avenue with his gun concealed in a black bag under his arm. An eyewitness who saw the shooting alerted nearby officers who then approached Johnson -- and cops claim Johnson responded by taking out his gun and opening fire. The officers returned fire, killing Johnson -- and upwards of 9 bystanders were injured in the crossfire. Mayor Bloomberg released a statement saying, "What I want to do is assure everybody this has nothing to do with terrorism."

Mistake: TOM CRUISE Divorce Settlement I GOT OUT CHEAP!

Katie Holmes walked away with nothing other than rather modest child support in her divorce from Tom Cruise ... and we at TMZ have the breakdown. Sources familiar with documents filed with the court tell TMZ ... Katie got no lump sum payout, which is consistent with the prenup which essentially shuts her out of Tom's $250 million fortune. As for spousal support ... Katie got zip. Katie will get money for child support, but it's way less than a judge could have ordered. According to the settlement, Tom must pay Katie $400,000 a year in child support. That comes to $33,333.33 a month. The money will be paid by electronic transfer. Tom must pay Suri's support for the next 12 years -- until she turns 18. All tolled, that comes to $4.8 million. Tom must also pay Suri's expenses, including medical, dental, insurance, education, college and extracurricular costs. And ... both Tom and Katie agree that Suri will NOT attend a "residential school" from now through her high school years. Translation -- she can't be shipped off to boarding school -- Scientology or otherwise. Katie could have gotten more child support under New York law if the case went to trial, but both she and Tom decided to settle quickly

Breaking News: RODNEY KING DEATH REPORT PCP, Coke, Weed, Booze

10:17 AM PT -- In the report, the coroner says King was "in a state of drug and alcohol induced delirium" at the time of his death ... and either fell or jumped into the swimming pool. The report continues, "The effects of the drugs and alcohol, combined with [King's preexisting heart condition] probably precipitated a cardiac arrhythmia and [King], thus incapacitated, was unable to save himself and drowned." According to the report, King was naked and face down at the deep end of the pool when officials arrived on scene. Cops also found a pitchfork, a hoe and a vaccuum pool sweeper in the pool ... which King's GF used to try and fish Rodney out of the water. Rodney King was under the influence of SEVERAL substances at the time of his death -- including alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, and PCP -- this according to Rodney's death report. According to the report, the cause of death is listed as accidental drowning -- but the drugs were contributing factors. The PCP is interesting because there was a theory around the time of the 1991 beating that Rodney displayed super-human strength because he was on PCP at the time. However, blood tests for the drug turned up negative. TMZ broke the story ... King's fiancee discovered his body at the bottom of the pool at the couple's home in Rialto, CA on June 17. King became famous in 1991 when he was the victim of police brutality at the hands of the LAPD. The officers involved in the incident were acquitted the following year and the announcement of the verdict led to the Los Angeles riots.

Multiple sources with firsthand knowledge tell TMZ ... the records are medical documents outlining Britney's condition and treatment. We're told the singer has a disorder affecting her personality that can affect her state of mind. We're told she is doing "extremely well" but needs the safety net of a conservatorship. Sources tell us there is no plan to end the conservatorship, and the judge is completely down with it. FYI ... there are 2 components of the conservatorship -- the personal and the business. The personal conservatorship allows Jamie Spears and Jason Trawick to make life decisions for her. The business conservatorship involves managing Britney's career and fortune. As for the business side, we're told it will probably go on indefinitely because it has been incredibly successful.

He Is A She: KEN SHAMROCK Roughs Up a Woman (Thought She Was a Man)

UFC hall-of-famer Ken Shamrock -- one of the greatest MMA fighters ever -- has been accused of battering a woman at a California mall ... but Ken claims it was an honest mistake ... 'cause he thought she was a he. Shamrock -- whose nickname is "The World's Most Dangerous Man" -- was hangin' out at a mall in Modesto, CA last month when he saw two women fighting each other in front of the Coach store ... surrounded by a group of lookie loos filming the whole thing. We're told Shamrock dove into the scrap and tried to pry the women apart ... when one of the bystanders, a HEAVYSET bystander, jumped on his back and tried to rip Ken out of the pile. Shamrock's rep tells TMZ ... he threw the person off of his back and followed up with a move that knocked the attacker to the ground. After the person was incapacitated, the crowd shouted at Ken, "You just hit a girl." Ken took a closer look and realized the attacker was in fact a female .. so he immediately backed off. An officer arrived to the scene and took a battery report against Shamrock, noting the only injury was a slight abrasion to the woman's knee. The report was sent to the District Attorney's Office. But law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Shamrock probably won't be prosecuted because officials don't feel the woman he knocked to the ground is a "victim." In fact, they believe Ken was acting in self-defense. Shamrock's rep notes, "Outside the ring, Ken is not a violent man ... and was only trying to do the right thing."

Kirby -- a 56-year-old transient -- has been charged with 1st degree burglary with a person present. But to make matters worse for Kirby, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office has charged him as a 3rd Strike Offender ... and if convicted, he faces a maximum of 38 years to life in prison. TMZ broke the story ... Kirby allegedly broke into LL's mansion in Sherman Oaks, CA this week, triggering an alarm in the house ... and waking up the rapper, who went downstairs, found the intruder in the family room ... and proceeded to break his jaw and nose. Prosecutors have asked the judge to set Kirby's bail at $1.1 million.

Dot to release as since it's for his LP: "Im REALLY sorry to the fans. record w Kendrick won't be out on the 6TH i'm SO SORRY its not my album, i don't control dates. but stay tuned!" Gaga tweeted. The goal of this column is to bring you the most entertaining and outrageous tweets of the week from the world of hip hop, and this week nothing was more outrageous than when a 19 year old aspiring “rapper” hacked Bow Wow’s Twitter. Truly a bizarre scenario, this was not the first time a rapper’s Twitter was hacked, but it was the first time the hacker posted demands on the artist’s timeline. Reminiscent of the 90s movie “Airheads” when a struggling band takes a radio station hostage demanding their demo gets played, the man would not relinquish the Twitter account until he received $10,000 and his online mixtape was heard by the masses. Later, the situation devolved into a full-blown “Stan” scenario, as he revealed himself to be a massive fan of Bow Wow. In the end the hacker/rapper/fan got emotional and felt hurt that Bow Wow’s followers were unfairly attacking him. Here's the tweet by tweet recap of Bow Wow’s Twitter being held hostage. Starting out strong and threatening, the hacker feels powerful having Bow Wow’s Twitter page and gives his demand: $10,000 or else! He supposedly owes $66,000 to the place, which he says is misinformation."Nah, that’s just people missing me. They miss me. I apologize," he said.
