COOL CRIB: MICHAEL JORDAN I'm Building a $12.4 Million Cigar-Smoking PARADISE
Consider the world record for "largest humidor ever" broken -- Michael Jordan's $12.4 MILLION Jupiter, FL palace is juuust about ready to move in to ... and it features an insane cigar-friendly home theater.
His Airness -- rarely seen these days without a tightly-rolled Cuban between his teeth -- has been building the 28,000 square foot estate for the past three years, complete with a giant state-of-the-art home theater ... outfitted with special equipment made to handle mass amounts of cigar smoke.
The 3-acre, 11-bedroom compound is being built in the middle of an ultra-exclusive golf course community called the Jack Nicklaus' Bear Club ... where Tiger Woods also lives.
It's unclear where Jordan plans to display his 4 MVP trophies and 6 NBA Championship rings ... but between the main house, the pool house, the guest house, and the 2-story guard house ... he's got plenty of choices.
FYI -- There's also a ridiculous athletic facility ... complete with b-ball court, naturally.

50 Cent Talks On Changes In Hip-Hop, Good Or Bad
50 Cent discusses how hip-hop has changed, and explains whether or not he thinks it's a bad thing.
50 Cent has been in the game long enough now that he's definitely seen some changes in hip-hop. Fif manages to keep up with times, putting on new material quite often and broadening his reach with various business ventures. In a new interview with Complex, Fif speaks on how hip-hop is different than it was, and if it's a bad or good thing.
50 explained to Complex how the recording process has changed, with producers handing rappers completely finished products. "Yeah. You got a lot of guys that make records and everything’s done for you before you get there. The producer actually made the record. It has a sample playing and a chorus, you did your verse, you have three other rappers that generate interest from different demographics rap behind you and it’s done. Those records, they’re good too because sometimes those are the things that you don’t have to think about. You hear it, you go, "Okay, I know what it is," and you just party to it. There’s no substance to it that makes you stop and think."
The G-Unit rapper also spoke on the whether or not the game changing is bad thing. 50 explains in some ways it is negative, citing a loss of realness,"Well, it can be considered negative if you’re not willing to make the adjustments, but it has changed. We’re following trends a lot more than we used to. We used to allow someone entry into the actual culture, and it would be theirs. Authenticity meant a lot. For you to offer something from your perspective or from your experience that someone else couldn’t do because they haven’t had that happen in their lives, that’s gone. Now it’s like, that guy will write my song. I’ll write the record from that guy or for something else. Like, you have to watch it. They say, "Let’s make the hit record that they want to hear." It doesn’t even matter if it’s coming from a real place."
50 Cent also explains how social networking plays a part, "If you just use social networking as an example, a Twitter, the negative things that people will say randomly, if you took those things it would probably break you down to the point where you’re uncertain or unsure. You got the blind following the blind then. In the past everyone didn’t have...the way they felt about a song, it mattered. They heard it for the first time, if they didn’t understand it or get it the very first time they heard it, after they played it so many times and knew all the words to the song they would say, “I do like this song.” They didn’t have an opportunity to play with someone else’s thought process or make someone feel like they’re uncertain about it before it actually grew on them."
OUR MISTAKE: LAPD Issue Apology Over Releasing Notorious B.I.G. Autopsy Report
The LAPD have issued an apology to the Wallace family, for releasing the autopsy report of B.I.G. without notifying them.
The other day the autopsy report for Notorious B.I.G. was released, more than fifteen years after the rapper's death.
The LAPD have now issued an apology because apparently the report was released before the Wallace family had been notified, due to an "administrative error."
Read their apology below, via HHDX.
"Our detectives personally spoke with the Wallace family (Friday) night, and apologized for not notifying them prior to the release... Obviously this has been a challenging case for us to solve. We hope that witnesses or other people with information will come forward and give us the clues we need to solve this case."
Biggie's family had contacted their lawyers after the autopsy report was released, criticizing the police for releasing the report and not solving the case.

Beyonce has signed a new deal with Pepsi, which is an endorsement of sorts, but also allows money for creative projects from Beyonce.
Not that Beyonce needs the money, but the pop star just inked a major deal with Pepsi for $50 million.
The deal, which Beyonce addressed in a recent statement, is a hybrid project set to include commercials, as well as a multimillion dollar fund to support Bey's creative endeavors.
Beyonce says of the new venture: "Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity."

SO SORRY: AUSTRALIAN DJS 'HEARTBROKEN' Over Nurse's Suicide
Michael Christian and Mel Greig -- the two Australian radio DJs behind the Kate Middleton hospital prank call that led to the suicide of a nurse -- say they are "incredibly sorry" for what transpired ... as they speak out for the first time.
The pair sat down with "A Current Affair" in Australia and described how they found out that Jacintha Saldanha had taken her life. Michael said they got the news at the same time and Mel called it "the worst phone call I've ever had in my life."
The DJs have been off the air since the incident, which they say has weighed on them ever since. Mel explained, "There’s not a minute that goes by that we don’t think about the family and what they must be going through and the thought we might have played a part in that is discouraging ... I wanted to just to reach out to them and give them a hug and say sorry, I actually do feel sorry, I really do."
Mel's attitude toward the prank was different before Saldanha took her life ... as TMZ first reported, she posted a photo on Facebook just hours before, joking about how impersonating the Queen should help her score free drinks.
HOT WIFE: DODGERS PITCHER JOSH BECKETT Board with His Hot Wife
L.A. Dodgers pitcher Josh Beckett got the paddle from his smokin' hot bikini-clad wife in Maui this weekend.

Ladies, never let your man weigh you down.
GROUNDED: ASHLEY OLSEN Smoke-Filled Cockpit Grounds Flight at DFW
Ashley Olsen was on board an American Airlines flight when smoke forced pilots to abort take-off this morning ... TMZ has learned.
Sources on board AA flight 2421 tell us the plane was departing from Dallas when something went wrong with an engine shortly after pulling away from the gate.
According to fire officials at DFW ... the cockpit filled with smoke, and the pilots quickly returned to the terminal.
Our sources say Ashley was among the roughly 200 passengers who got off the plane safely.
UPDATE: An American Airlines rep says the flight returned to the gate due to an electrical odor in the cockpit ... and a new Boeing 767 was brought in to take all 211 passengers to LAX. The rep says the flight was delayed less than 2 hours.
HATERS: ARIEL WINTER'S SISTER Grilled Over Drug Use by Mom's Attorneys
Ariel Winter's sister -- and current guardian -- sat down for a deposition with her mother's attorneys, and was hammered with questions about drug use ... TMZ has learned ... but the questions for the most part netted the history of your average Joan.
Shanelle Gray was grilled last week by Chrystal Workman's attorneys in the ongoing guardianship case for the "Modern Family" star -- and sources connected to Shanelle tell us she was asked if she ever took drugs ... specifically, cocaine.
We're told Shanelle said she tried cocaine only once -- either in 2005 or 2006 -- at a Hollywood party. She thought someone laced it with something bad ... because she got sick.
We're told Shanelle told the attorneys she went to the hospital as a precautionary measure, and was released that same night.
We're also told Shanelle copped to spending a "few days in jail" in Virgina, when she was 19 ... in connection with a reckless driving incident.
And our sources say Shanelle was asked if she ever got a DUI. We're told she said she was pulled over in LA in 2005 or 2006 and was given a ticket on a night when she had "one glass of wine." She says the judge eventually threw out the ticket because her blood alcohol level was so low.
Sources close to Chrystal tell us her attorneys plan to use Shanelle's depo info during the guardianship hearing ... in an attempt to show she is not a suitable role model or guardian for Ariel.
IT'S OVER: KATE MIDDLETON PRANK Australian Station CANCELS Radio Show
The company that owns the radio station responsible for the Kate Middleton radio prank says it has "terminated" the show ... and will implement "a company-wide suspension of 'prank' calls."
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) issued the statement this morning saying it still feels "deep regret" for the death of hospital nurse Jacintha Saldanha following the prank ... and "take the events of the last few days very seriously."
SCA says it has taken the following action:
- The suspension of all advertising on 2DayFM until further notice;
- The termination of 2DayFM’s Hot 30 show;
- A Company-wide suspension of “prank” calls
- A comprehensive review of relevant company policies and processes
SCA says it has tried to reach out to the hospital, but had "no success."
SCA doesn't believe it broke the law by making the calls ... but says it will cooperate with any police investigation.
SCA Chief Executive Officer Rhys Holleran added, "First and foremost we would like to express our deep and sincere condolences to the family of Jacintha Saldanha for their loss. We are very sorry for what has happened.”
He says SCA is also "providing support to our people who are deeply saddened by this tragic and unforseen event.”
As we previously reported ... before they were suspended, the DJs were actually BRAGGING about the call -- in which they impersonated members of the royal family to get information about Kate's medical condition.
LOSING IT: Katt Williams WHIPS Audience Member with Microphone
WHEN WILL IT STOP??? Just days after bitch-slapping a Target employee last week, Katt Williams unleashed microphone fury on an unsuspecting audience member, knocking the man upside the head with his mouthpiece ... HARD ... and We have a video of the attack.
(All-Star Edition): PAM ANDERSON Dancing With Tax Liens
Pam Anderson REALLY should have tried harder to win "Dancing with the Stars" (and its cash prize) ... 'cause girl was just slapped with TWO tax liens totaling over $370k -- and could probably use the money.
Tax Lien #1: Filed by the IRS, says Pam owes $259,395.75 for unpaid taxes in 2011.
Tax Lien #2: Filed by the State of CA, says Pam owes $112,118.90 -- also for 2011.
All totaled, the "DWTS: All Stars" star -- who got axed in round one this time -- needs to cough up $371,514.65.
But this isn't Pam's first run-in with tax problems. The actress had another lien filed against her back in 2009 for $1.7 MILLION. And at one point, her name even appeared on the Golden State's list of "Top 500 Delinquent Tax Payers."
Anderson's rep had no comment.
