Most Popular Royal: Why nude pics won't hurt Harry's Royal rep

For many celebrities and Royals alike, behaving badly could be the greatest PR coup of their lives says editor-at-large, Melissa Hoyer. What harm did being caught with a couple of joints do to George Michael's public persona? Brittany Spears can still command 15 million bucks to judge a TV series; shoplifting didn't do too much damage to Winona Ryder's life and hey, even a video of a drunk, burger-scoffing David Hasselhoff somehow resuscitated his career. Naomi Campbell's temper tantrums haven't halted her runway aspirations while run-ins with paps from Justin Bieber and Elton John haven't stopped the royalties rolling in. Why, even Harry's father, Prince Charles, isn't immune to questionable behaviour. Remember the 'tampon' phone call to his then lover and now wife, Camilla? Yep, I'd rather forget it too. Prince Harry's sensational Vegas Hangover trip has totally usurped the existing trifecta of Royal good-will of his brother's wedding; his grandmother's jubilee and his country's Olympics. That troika of all things bang-on British pale in comparison to Harry's party snaps which look like the result of a mighty fine audition episode of Entourage: The Royals. And let's face it, much more satisfying than an appearance at the Chelsea Flower show. Obviously, what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas in this techno age but there will be 'zilch' damage done to Harry's party boy image. Absolutely no harm to it at all. The only people in the firing line with be his security, his detail reportedly costing $180 million a year (of the public's purse) forked out to watch over the behaviour of a fairly normal 27-year-old, who happens to be an army officer. While the careers of Charlie Sheen, Tiger Woods, Mel Gibson and Hugh Grant haven't exactly skyrocketed (more like stalled) since their bouts of dubious conduct, being 'bad' won't be a career or status fizzer for Harry. For the much-loved Prince, the pictures consolidate what we've known all along. That he's a young guy trying to live as normal a life as possible and to give the concept of 'Royalty' a contemporary, relevant edge. Even if it does include a billiard cue and bare-cheeked girls. The only consolation for Harry is that totally naked snaps haven't made it onto celebrities-behaving--badly website TMZ. Yet. Chances are, if there are shots of him covering his jewels, there are ones of them lying in State as well. We'll have to wait for the next instalment.
